Please note the following unusual match times for Morning and Day/Night match double headers scheduled in Rounds 1 to 3 (19+26-Sep and 3-Oct) at either Gibson Park North or Wally Tate Park.
These times will override those parts of Playing Regulations 20 and 25 which define match times and innings finish times for these early season matches only.
All other Round 1 to 3 matches at other grounds will be played at the normal times stated in Playing Regulations.
For Saturday 35 over 1 dayers the innings period is 140 minutes. (See Reg 25.3.1 and 25.14.1). In game penalties will apply if bowling teams do not complete overs before innings finish times. See Playing Reg 25 for details.

Sunset times on these dates are:

On 19-Sep, Brisbane sunset time is 5.45pm

On 26-Sep, Brisbane sunset time is 5.48pm

On 03-Oct, Brisbane sunset time is 5.52pm.
These match times are unusual but are set to allow sufficient time between games for pitch maintenance, team lists and coin toss and to avoid batting in twilight (which is less safe as well as more difficult).
There will be more Morning and Day/Night match double headers later in the season. Due to progressive changes in sunset times, additional changed match times for to suit will be announced.
