PUBLIC URINATION… is actually against the law.

In Queensland, public urination is a criminal offence under the Summary Offences Act (2005).
See https://www.austlii.edu.au/cgi-bin/viewdoc/au/legis/qld/consol_act/soa2005189/s7.html
The fine, if you get caught, is 2 penalty units (2x $166.90 as of 1-Jul-2025) and double if there’s a liquor licence.

Criminal offence means any person convicted will have a record which may restrict appointment to certain jobs or obtaining a passport.

Please make every effort to use the public toilets when you’re at a cricket match.

Just because the toilets are a bit of a walk is NOT a valid excuse.
