PlayHQ is now set for 2024/25 QSDCA Competitions, and all Clubs can complete the following steps to open your registrations:
STEP 1 – Clubs to complete the online Team Nomination Form (click here) – Requested first deadline is Monday 12th August ahead of Secretaries meeting.
STEP 2 – Clubs to complete the pre-season steps in PlayHQ below (https://ca.playhq.com)
All season information is available at the QSDCA website – https://qsdca.com.au/
PLAYHQ PROCESS TO OPEN YOUR REGISTRATIONS
- Competitions -> View the QSDCA Summer 24/25 Competition
- Registration -> Forms -> Participant to Club Form -> Add Dates -> Add your Club Player Fee options including any advanced registration fees (eg Half Season, Early Bird) -> set the link to Visible -> share link with all Players, Coaches and Managers
- The $15 Competition Administration Fee is locked at the Association Level
- Transfers & Permits -> Update any automatic approval settings as required
- (Optional) Teams -> Add Club Team … either Rollover teams from last season or create teams one-by-one
- This step can either be done now or during the pre-season as registrations come in
- Please note we will add all Grades in the coming weeks
Each Club has two registration form types you can use:
- Participant to Club – every player registers here at a single link and Clubs add players to their Squads later
- Participant to Club Team – each Team has a unique registration link and players register directly to that Team, removing an Admin step (links are located by viewing Club Teams you create). Players can be manually moved between Teams as needed.

- Pay the National Registration Fee (NRF) if applicable – note NRF prices remain unchanged:
- The NRF is valid for two consecutive seasons … either Summer 23/24 and Winter 2024 OR Winter 2024 and Summer 24/25
- The NRF is due to be renewed for any new player, or any player who last registered and paid for the Summer 23/24 season

INSURANCE NOTE – 24/25 CERTIFICATE OF CURRENCY
Cricket Australia and Marsh have entered a new two-year agreement and an updated Certificate of Currency (valid from June 30, 2024 to June 30, 2026) is available to download at this link. Please contact Andrew.Keyte@qldcricket.com.au for assistance.

TRANSFERS AND PERMITS
Clubs are reminded to check Transfer and Permit settings in PlayHQ and be prepared to action as required. More details are in the attached documents, but in general a Transfer is a permanent move from one Club to another, and a Permit is used to register to more than one Club / Competition within the same season.
Current Winter 2024 players may be required to Transfer to their Summer 24/25 Club however this action will NOT cancel any current Winter 2024 registration, so players can complete this action at any time. A Permit can only be used after a player has registered online to a Club for the current season (ie you can’t issue a Permit from Winter 2024 to Summer 24/25).
CLUB CONSULT / PLAYHQ REGISTRATION BEST PRACTICE
We are searching for additional ways we can streamline tasks and free up some volunteer time at Club level, so we’d like to offer our services to see how QC can assist. We’d like to get an understanding of how each Club operates and where your volunteer group might need further assistance, so it’s an open invite if any QSDCA Club would like to catch up with a member of the QLD Cricket Competitions team over the next six weeks. Please contact Andrew.Keyte@qldcricket.com.au to discuss further.
