In 2024/25 QSDCA hopes to introduce a new Saturday afternoon 1 day 35 over competition.

This caters to players and teams who are in trouble with players who can’t commit to 2 back to back Saturdays (which is harder and harder in our busy lives.)

Same rules as the regular Saturday Afternoon 35 over games. (2 piece red ball, 7 overs per bowler, no fielding circles, no powerplays, free hit for all no balls.) See pages 24-34 (not 31) of the QSDCA Playing reguations.

There will be a reduced season schedule, starting early Oct to avoid footy finals and school holidays with some big breaks for Test match weekend, Xmas.

Semi Finals and Grand Final will be a 1 dayer also held in early March so eligible players can stay ready for other Saturday finals.
